More Moses Love

Expressway-chic continues to gather pace! The BQE/Gowanus, historically viewed as a catalyst for urban blight, has more recently featured as a draw in real estate listings. And now it's a hideaway dining destination. Pizza Moto's new, stationary home on Hamilton Avenue is getting rave reviews, not only for for its pies, small plates, and cocktails, but also for its under-expressway allure.

"We've been able to warm up the room and the block in a way that feels really positive," says General Manager Anna Viertel. "The feedback we've gotten is that people find it very thrilling and cozy to be tucked away here under the BQE. People feel like they're discovering something when they come here."
