There were flags atop the 470 Fourth construction site today, and cheering could be heard.  It's hard to compare the unfinished building (Adam America/Slate/Naveh Schuster) with the rendering (bottom picture), but it looks like it's topping out. Way down below, next-door beauty salon, Imagen Unisex, soldiers bravely on.
