I guess this has been floating around for years, but true to form, I only discovered it today, as I wasted time on Youtube. Back in 2007, the BBC made the documentary Once Upon a Time in New York: The Birth of Hip Hop, Disco and Punk. Whatever you think of the documentary as a whole, there's some great old footage.
