Third at 23rd

This mural has been up since 2008, but I still like looking at it.  You'd get a better overall photograph if you were stuck in traffic on the Gowanus Expressway right above it.  The getting-stuck part is easy enough, but you couldn't necessarily get the right spot.  So here are a few parts of the whole.

Nice..great timing catching the NYC Eagle aka Pigeon in the shot...I never have taken shots of this mural from the ground but have plenty like you said "stuck in traffic!" ...I don't get to drive by the lower part much and am happy to see nobody has toyed it...Has anyone ever messed with it ? I hope not, like it says "our neighborhoods our dreams" , gotta respect that. Thanks for the compliment on my prior comment, its well received :) Peace.

What a great mural, nice shots of it. Do you know who the artist is?

It's a project of Groundswell, a community mural group. It was created by Kate Yamasaki, Menshahat Ebron, & a group of young women artists. Groundswell creates community murals all over the city.
