Day of the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Sunset Park

I walked over to Sunset Park today.  It was a good afternoon to be there.  OK, so the guy in the green car is in here twice, but who could be cooler? I love being in Sunset Park: such a nice family vibe, and great food everwhere - in trucks, food stands & restaurants.  And no Starbucks. The storefronts are an interesting mix of old & new, or old re-incarnated in hybrid form. It's a strange, happy, melancholy trip.  I took a whole bunch of non-parade photographs, some of which I'll put up this week.
